The Hypochondriac's Dream

In a sense we are always attached to our phones, whether listening to music or avidly texting. But what if our phones became us, knowing our health, our family, even our touch?

As apple states about its iwatch, "All watches tell time. This one helps you make the most of it" from analyzing your regular calendar schedule to checking on an irregular heartbeat. Here's the doctor and more on your wrist. I feel as though apple has gotten out of hand with this new product. The distinction between a human being and technology is becoming less distinguishable.

No doubt technology is efficient and has its great uses but there is a moment where we have to detach and come to reality. If a product like iwatch was introduced in the 90's... Come on. No everyone is going to keep there rolex. I like the old fashioned classic items. Those items are worth what you pay and last a lot longer. If I invest in an iwatch there is just going to be an iwatch 2.3 the next day. Sometimes ridiculous just reaches a whole new level, and humans have to decide where the point is to say so.

Massacre in Orangeburg

Segregation is the action or state of setting someone or something apart from other people or things. In the year of 1968, in the small secluded area of Orangeburg, South Carolina, this definition was made into an example. What happens when corrupt rules are realized and the justification and explanation for those rules raises a valid point?...What happens when those who are set apart come together, to challenge corruption, as one?

I can only show it to you as I saw it through my eyes...A Little Girl's Eyes (Lenny Kravitz)

Likes and Dislikes Of Television

What I like most about television today is that it has the ability to cover more now more than ever. Which mean viewers today have more access to all types of knowledge just from watching television each day. Television today also has become more bolder as far as the content that is being shown as well as more odd creativity is being shown today.

Content is bolder now based upon all the reality shows that are out. Primarily the reality shows started off small, there were already shows like Jerry Springer and such but this was becoming a different type of drama.

Literally viewers would be watching people's lives and how that type of drama unfolded. Shows such as Jersey Shore and The Housewives of EVERY County became top watched weekly shows within this new drama. What I dislike about television is what it is become. Not doubt the progress amazes me, but the progression of what is being displayed disturbs me.

To be a housewife was seen as prideful and elegant. Now it has become equal drama and destruction. Even the families who are on the show are suffering from the backlash. But greed is a powerful thing, that has seem to take over our society more now than ever. And television is there to display it.
